At Humana, we love helping people be healthier. It’s what we do to make a positive impact on the lives we touch and communities we serve. That’s what being a good corporate citizen means to us.
We work with our employees, members and communities so that everyone has a chance to achieve their best health, to lead a healthy life. Together with our partners – people who care about contributing to a healthy, inclusive society – we are helping people have more healthy days. And when we focus on health – of the people we serve, the planet, and our company’s performance – we truly do well by doing good.
Whether it’s our employees going the extra mile in the 100 Day Dash, our members gathering together to craft for a good cause, or our health care provider partners finding innovative ways to support their patients, we have many good stories to share.
Humana’s investment in employee health comes to life each summer when we host the nationwide 100 Day Dash. What’s it all about? Take a look.
Humana members gather at our Humana community centers for fun, friendships, and for helping others. Watch how they do it, and see what it means to them.
Humana’s relationships with doctors, nurses and other care providers demonstrate how we’re working to enable care professionals to spend as much time as possible with their patients. Here’s an example.
We prepared this report in accordance with the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) Standards for core reports. This is our fourth GRI report, with the most recent previous GRI report being the 2014-2015 CSR Report that was published in 2016. We publish a comprehensive report on our CSR performance biennially. In 2017, we published a CSR progress report that served as an update on our CSR progress to stakeholders.
